Our Attorneys
Mehron
has been practicing law in Texas since 1992. After graduation from law
school, he served as an Assistant Attorney General in Austin, Texas. From
1996 until 1998, he practiced law at Gardere & Wynne, L.L.P. in Dallas. In
1998, Mehron founded Azarmehr & Associates, P.C. He is admitted to
practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District
Court, Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas. He is admitted to
practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District
Court, Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas.
Rachel received her B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of
Arizona in 2001, graduating cum laude. She then served as a volunteer in the
Peace Corps for two years in Ecuador, South America. She recently received her
J.D. from the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law, where she
spent three semesters working with the school's immigration law clinic. She is
licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
Vi Nanthaveth graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. degree in
Mass Communication in 1999 and went on to receive her M.A. in Photojournalism
from Southern University in 2001. After working as a news anchor and field reporter for a WB
affiliate for a couple years, she became a Public Relations Officer for the
Louisiana Secretary of State. In
2006, Vi received her J.D. degree from Southern University Law Center and is
licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
In the same year, she moved to Austin, Texas and accepted an associate
position with the Thomas Esparza Law Office.
Vi joined Azarmehr & Associates on November 2008 with a focus on family and business immigration matters.
Allison
graduated from the University of Virginia in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in
English Literature; and from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law
with a J.D. in 1996. She has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1996
and in New York since 2003. Before concentrating in immigration law, Allison
worked in the area of entertainment law and general litigation. Allison has been
with Azarmehr & Associates, P.C. since 2000, and recently opened the firm's New
York office.
Roberto
Helguera graduated from Thomas Aquinas College in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree
in Philosophy and received a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1997. He
is admitted to practice law in New York and Texas.
From 1997 to 2000, he practiced at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York. Mr. Helguera joined DLA Piper, LLP where he continued his banking law practice. In 2006, Mr. Helguera joined Stanford Financial Group Company in Houston as a Senior Corporate Counsel/International, where he supervised Stanford's immigration and sports practices.
On October 2008, Mr. Helguera joined Azarmehr & Associates, P.C. as Of Counsel, where he will focus on business immigration matters.
Arcelia
Trevino received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville in 1997, Magna Cum Laude. She was a
member of Phi Theta Kappa – International Honor Society, Alpha Chi – National College Honor Scholarship Society and Kappa Delta
Pi – International Honor Society in education. She graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2003. Arcelia has been
licensed to practice law in Texas since 2003.
Mr. Martnez-Cant received a Law Degree from Universidad Regiomontana, A.C. in
Monterrey, Mexico and a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) from Northwestern
University School of Law in Chicago, IL. He then worked as a Foreign Associate
in the New York office of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, L.L.P.
Mr. Martnez-Cant is a member of Mexican Bar Association and Corporate Lawyers
National Association. Diego practices corporate and commercial law.
